Ooh, that could be a good chance - to use the opportunity to type things up so they're in a more useable format. That would be a good way to use your time, even if you aren't able to do everything you'd usually do. Baking is SO hand-intensive, and it's hard to avoid jostling the injured thumb, I imagine.
