Alas, the Saiyuki/Furuba crossover is not going as well as I had hoped. It still needs this extra little jolt, yanno? Like the thing that gets it jump started and wanting to be written. Also, because words were not going well for me a few days ago, it wants to turn itself into a doujinshi.
Because of this, I have borrowed Saiyuki volume 5 from Maggie for the weekend so I can get some basic concept sketches down. The best I have so far is a partially finished Sanzo Akito. (Okay, yes, Sanzo is supposed to be his first name, I know, and in reality I couldn't picture Akito as a priest any better than you could, but still... I suppose he could be Akito Sanzo as a nice compromise.) The bad thing about the doujin idea is that I don't remember what Ritsu looks like very well. And Google image search isn't particularly helpful in that department -_-. And that isn't even until the second part! The main problem in the _first_ part is that I can't think of a good reason to make Kyo injure himself. Maybe I should just give him a cold or something... Ooo, or maybe Kagura could--no, that wouldn't work, Kagura's not there. Drat. Maybe I could have someone else get injured? Or sick? Or some other excuse to visit the doctor? The Sohma family doctor? ~~And if anyone even thinks m-preg, I swear I'll go through the screen and knock you over the head with my bokken.~~

At least Communications is going well. If by 'going well' you mean 'has just decided to shove two to five more chapters in between the last part I posted and the one I just finished'.
