Really, no need to comment. I mean, a bunch of you I know IRL, so that's probably where you came from. It's just a few of you that pop(ped?) up out of (seemingly) no-where, and I usually just assume you're here for the fics. Or maybe the art. Or could it be my charm and wit? *sparkles* ...I didn't think so ^_^;
Today is, among other things, my dad's birthday :D Happy Birthday, Dad ^___^ <3 Much love and... so forth. I will get around to making that hickory nut cheesecake for you sooner or later, I promise. (Finally, a decision on what to do with that pound of shelled hickory nuts 9_9...)
Borrowed the Viz translation of the FMA manga from Pat (nekokenchan) today. ...Have not been severely traumatized by it (as I was by the Cardcaptor Sakura dub, to the point that I can't even listent to Syaoran's english VA without twitching ^_^;) Have only one real nitpick.

1st Thoughts: ...WTF. I thought Ed was an Athiest.
2nd Thoughts: Me, too.
2nd Thts: And there's an awfully big difference between "I don't believe in God" and "I'm not sure whether God exists."
1st Thts: On the one hand, Athiest fits because Ed's going on about how scientists don't believe in God later in the chapter. But you could also make a case for Agnostic, because (SPOILER)Ed has met the Truth, and therefore might believe in some higher being pulling puppet strings. (/SPOILER)
3rd Thoughts: Either there was a mistranslation somewhere, or we have to accept the possibility that Ed may follow a third belief system.
1st Thts: Personally, I liked it better when he was an Atheist.
Still like the manga better than the anime.
Am now going to work on Prometheus, hopefully to finish it. And then, hopefully, type up chapter 14 of Communications. And then I will either laze around and read fic by other people, or abandon myself to that one fic that's been distracting me fromhonest work my other fics. Time will tell which.
