Which is to say, after an entire day of stress and near-hystarics re: this (pre- policy revision), I got my badge in the mail this afternoon. Joyness ♥♥♥ ...It's missing the badge case (WTF), but it's here, and I have it, and that's what counts. Plus, I'll bet that they totally have the cases for replacements for like a buck at the con. Otherwise, I'll probably live without.
Also, I did something really stupid last night ¦Db That is, around 11:30? I heard what sounded like a dog fight of sorts coming from outside. ...So after about five minutes, I went out with a flashlight and the lights on to investigate. THANKFULLY, I found nothing, but by all rights I should've been on the news this morning, having been bitten by a RABID DOG (or raccoon) or become one of Iowa's first PUMA VICTIMS or something.
