...That was really, really hurting my head until I remembered that Honey is the loli-shouta boy, not Mori. As compared, this will be cakepie easier.
* The thought occurred to Mori after club one day as he was staring at a candy that had been left behind at Honey's table: why, he wonders, can't they all just continue to stick together the way they are now, at least in some form?
* Tamaki was more-or-less blindsided by it in a candy store one day by his very caring friends and now lifemates; before then, well, of course he called Kyouya his 'wife', and of course he thought Haruhi was beautiful and amazing, and if he sometimes noticed Mori-senpai more than some of the other Host Club members, well, there was just more of him to notice; luckily, Haruhi managed to explain everything in small enough words that even he could understand.
* Haruhi, of course, had really noticed it before the rest of them - all the little things, in the way Kyouya pronounced their names just so, or how Tamaki was always careful to give them the perfect jobs, or what Mori's posture said and how it spoke more clearly than his mouth was ever likely to; typically for her, though, she waited for them to notice before doing anything about it.
...Honey-senpai or no Honey-senpai, that thing still took an age to write.

* Kyouya had thought of it, of course, on several occasions (usually very late at night, usually after a very long day, and whenever those two occasions crossed with whenever he thought as few people as possible would be listening), but he didn't actually think it could work until after the fiasco with Tamaki's fiancée when he finally had to pull out all the stops and show his hand; at that point, he began to contemplate it seriously.
