Yes, temperature-wise is exactly what I wanted! Thank you :) Though in retrospect, pointed rats are perfect for checking how pointedness affects the skin where it doesn't have hair/fur/feathers covering it ^^a
Preliminary sketch thing, go! Okay, mostly it was an excuse to practice more with my Bamboo tablet, but it still gets the idea across, so win/win? In either case, that's my updated color plan.

("RelationShips in a bottle" would also be fun, but it sounds less like something I'd crochet and more like something I'd find the distilled elements of - bottled friendship and the like. Except more complicated than that, something along the lines of "Friends since you were in grade school" or "Friends since you were babies due to geographical convenience" or "Chosen family". The idea seems like it would be really interesting to block out for different relationships. And would I attempt to make it as generic as possible, or would it be more something to individualize? This is a good creative-thinky topic.)
