But yeah Sam/Gabriel, was a common side ship for Dean/Cas fics bc once you’ve paired one brother off with an angel may as well make it a matched set I guess??? Along with a small devoted set of fic writers enamored with the idea of the two boys who’d tried to run away from their awful families finding happiness together and were absolutely impossible to find in the tags. It led to an excellent fic rec culture though, which I can’t complain about!
