I ordered some bras online a while back. They arrived, and they fit well, but they still smell like factory! Even after going through the wash once and staying under my shirt, I can still smell them 😥

Super Senses are a major pain sometimes.

Ugh, that factory smell. Have you tried the "spritz with vodka and allow to dry" method of getting rid of odors, assuming the fabric can stand up to alcohol? It works well enough on theater costumes, and I've used it successfully on new upholstery.

Haven't yet! It's probably worth a try, though I'm not sure what sort of alcohol we have in the house. They're just cheap-o sports bras, so they should be fine, but I'm also fine with trying it on one to start with and seeing what happens to it. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's a neat idea, never heard of that one! Excellent use for vodka, since it goes bad right after you open it....

I was going to suggest a gentle wash/soaking in vinegar and warm water. Seems counterproductive but it might work. I use vinegar for a lot. Perhaps this is why I very few real-life friends, hmm...

Also a soak in baking soda and warm water. But not vinegar and baking soda at the same time, albeit the fun of that never gets old.

Bra-cano! Lol, yeah, no 😆 I might try the baking soda option, though! That sounds inoffensive enough.
