My mom read the Temeraire books and really enjoyed them, as I recall!

I think so far there's no date or title for the next book, but it is supposed to be the first of the "Great Cities" books. (Hoping for at least an announcement for a Book 2 soon!) I definitely enjoyed it and look forward to seeing where it goes.
I didn't like it as much as I did the Broken Earth trilogy... but that's a hard bar to clear, for me at least. I remember describing The Fifth Season to my sibling as "this is so good I feel like I'm getting away with something by reading it." haha
