Pricing thoughts

Did a time trial on my new octopus amugurumi today; I can whip one out in about 20 minutes. I was thinking of charging $6 for them based on that, but a friend of mine has been urging me to charge more for my work, so I think I'm going to switch to $7. That still sits it pretty firmly in "things kids and broke students can afford", while also boosting my own pay rate a bit. It also conveniently lets me make a terrible joke about throwing in the last leg for free (implying that I charge by the leg for octopuses), and having a good joke ready really does help sell stuff. Also, I like making people laugh on purpose! It's a good feeling.

What with one thing and another, I suspect there will be many more crocheted octopuses in my immediate future.
