It's a place I'm pretty familiar with, honestly (at least three of my past four or five major fandoms had me reading fanfic before I consumed any canon, and my most recent prior fandom specifically I was reading fanfic after only consuming a little canon), it's just the sheer amount of questioning I'm doing that's sending me! But from the comment below, it sounds like some of that may be clearing up in the middle volumes as well, so that should help motivate me to read in order 😂 I was really leaning towards doing that anyway, but this should make it feel like less of a chore!
