Fresh bedding

I've been wanting a new mattress for a while; after learning yesterday that an alarming number of box mattresses are made/packaged in fiberglass, I finally managed to dig up the executive function to actually research what kind of mattress I want, and to make sure it has no fiberglass at all.

I eventually settled on an EcoTerra mattress, being rated free of fiberglass and some other nasty stuff, as well as a good mattress for fat people, not horrifyingly expensive (though still considerably pricier than just buying from the nearest discount mattress or department store), actually available in Twin and Twin XL sizes, and otherwise well regarded as being comfortable. I also ordered a new box spring from Target, because apparently that's something that needs doing, and I was already splurging on a mattress.

Anyway, both of those should show up in under two weeks, so I'm looking forward to that!

And now back to confining most of my splurges to items under a hundred dollars.

Fandom nostalgia

Just saw a story on AO3 with "Polyamory F/F/M; don't like, don't read" at the end of the summary. I feel like I was just launched back in time almost twenty years, and simultaneously grounded in the "now". Look how far we've come. We clearly have a long way to go yet, but if we're using "don't like, don't read" as a barometer? Things have definitely gotten better.

Restructuring Pokémon Swish

I'm sure I've mentioned here before that I feel like Sword and Shield put the final boss and the post-game boss in the wrong order. I think I might have a more comprehensive fixed storyline for that now:

Spoilers for Pokémon Sword and Shield (if you didn't already guess) )

Anyway, opinions on Pokémon storytelling, I haz them.
