Red tie or blue tie?
Yeah, so, wanted to use one of these icons today, but I couldn't decide which one. Except that I knew I wanted it to be one of the color ones, so.

Once again, not actually my fault this time. CLAMP's. I just colored the image and added different text.
Anyway, I know I want one of the colored ones, but I can't decide between the red tie or the blue tie. I'm leaning towards red tie, since I like the way the color turned out better, but I think blue tie is closer to canon/a better balance here. On the other hand, the blues available just don't look right, so. Decisions, decisions...
I've totally thought about writing that crossover, by the way.
We spent Drawing class today working with charcoal, white chalk(?), and tone paper; we were supposed to draw other people in class, but my second drawing turned out looking as much like the Wicked Witch of the West as it did Cally (the model at the time) :D;;; A young WWotW, too. I wanted to scan it and put it up on CFO as psuedo-fanart (since I wouldn't be able to recognize Elphaba otherwise), but the piece of paper it's on is, sadly, too big :( Even that wouldn't have detered me for long had the scanner only been wide enough to fit more of the image in. I'll probably be keeping an eye out for a larger scanner for a while as a result...
And that's about it for now. Except for me contemplating what to do about Katara's wrist wraps. Do I want to risk the instability of actually wrapping my wrists for the more authentic look, or do I instead sew them together and secure them at the side? Hmm...
Edit: Why is the internet filled with awesome today? I'll never be able to get through all of this! *_*

Which would almost explain the murders.no subject
Hm...I'd sew and secure them. It wouldn't look bad, and you'd have a much better chance of them staying on.

Point. I'm mostly worried about having a row of fasteners down the side to break the, er, continuity of the cloth? But it would definitely stay on better. *marks down a vote for 'sewn together' on a notecard*

Like the red one myself, although light blue one is nice too~
Regarding small scanners: would a photo be too destructive? Is what I usually do when a pic is too big to fit in scanner, be patched up in multiple scans, (or I really need to put a pic up and have no scanner.)

I don't usually like what happens with the lighting and such with photographs, especially without professional equipment. I might try the multiple scans thing, though, since it is only a little less than twice the screen size.
So much awesome +_+ Not enough time to get to it all, asldkfjsdlkj.
