New Ford icon, 'cuz he looks snazzier in it and it makes me feel better

Currently waiting for membership application at ratties to go through, so I can make a long, detailed post about current worries and timeline concerns.

Long story short, Ford's still not any better today; in fact, he may even be a bit worse. Mom has suggested I may have to make the Hard Decision soon, probably sometime this week.

Things I need to do:
* Find out how long rats can/should go without companionship
* Find out how soon would be good to get a pair of new rats
* Find out if/how much my Thanksgiving vacation will interfere with proper socialization
* Clean things

Things I'm going to do first:
* Spend lots of quality time with Ford
* Pray for a miracle

Asked at the local animal shelter, and the young woman there at the time didn't know of any local breeders. If worse comes to worst, I'll make my way to Gen X Pets in CR to pick out a couple new boys there, since I've heard very positive things about them. In the mean time, I'm still holding out faint hope, and I'm going to make my time with Ford and Arthur as positive as possible.

In non rat-related news, I finally downloaded the rest of Gurren Lagann ¦Db The entire series is now sitting pretty on my hard drive, waiting to be watched the rest of the way through. ...Which may actually take a while, considering recent events - or may not, since Ford is 85% less likely to crawl out of my lap and/or chew on computer cords now :/ ...That's more sad-making than it should be.

Edit: Oh yeah, one more thing! For the people on my f'list who are not yet aware (but still interested), counselor apps are opening for a short period of time in late November. HINT HINT to a few of you.

Well, I beta'd a particular app not horrendously long ago, and I just want to be extra sure that the app-writer knows the deadline again approacheth, so.

XD I'm not planning to. I've only ever thought about apping one or two more characters, only campers, and even then I don't have a joke for more 'n half of 'em.

I WILL THINK ABOUT IT, except probably not very long ^^a I. I don't know who I would play or how I would play them or anything, really. The only one I've even really considered is character-of-the-day girl from episode three, and that's just because I could make her LJ name some variation on "real pothead".

Point, I suppose. Though unless there's a site that lists everyone's ages for Storm Hawks, they'd probably be up to wild interpretation. *tends to think of them as older for some reason unless sky knights + squadrons tend to die freakishly early, that is*
