There is a high-pitched, persistent noise of some sort coming from outside, possibly machinery related, and I do not like it.

Edit: It seems to have stopped for the moment, possibly due to the fact that I acknowledged its existence in writing. Still, I will have to take steps to ensure I am prepared in the even that it returns.

Probably; a saw or a drill or something, at any rate. I Did Not Care for it! Thankfully, there's been no sign of it since.

If they're going to be doing loud noises like that, they should at least surround it with other construction noises so it isn't *mysterious* loud annoying noises.
