Even in the event that somehow everything gets fixed with AnimeIowa, it wouldn't hurt to have a "convention neutral" version of the game, methinks. I may wait to start until after Saturday, though, for reasons discussed below.

Honestly, I don't think many AI staffers have any idea how much work I put into the game at all, and that's if they even played it in the first place. I do fondly remember the look of awe on the face of the Environmental Enhancement Team Lead (and my firmest supporter still on staff, who also first alerted me to the mask bullshit) when I showed him the back end code, though; that was a treat!

Speaking of, that same guy BCC'd me in an email he sent up through the chain of command earlier today, and (very politely) demanded a good chunk of time at this Saturday's staff meeting to talk about the reasons I left the con (the switch to "masks optional", the back-room decisions by the Execs, and an issue that I don't recall if I mentioned where a prior argument I had with one of the Execs in a staff-only channel of the official Discord was censored without so much as letting me know it had been done). I feel very privileged to have him on my side, and grateful that he made sure I got a copy of the email.
