General brickspace stuff

Today I went out with my parents to—gasp—see a movie in an actual theater!

It was the Bob's Burgers Movie, and I pretty much only agreed on the understanding that we were going at a non-peak time anyway; there ended up being a total of nine people in the theater for the movie, including us, all pretty well spaced out. I also had an N95 on the whole time, so I think I was about as safe as I reasonably could be. I might be willing to brave something similar for Spiderverse 2 when it comes out.

In other news, the weather has taken a turn for the miserable. Given that it's June, it's at least appropriate for the time of year, but that doesn't make me like it any more. The local Pride celebration is on Saturday, and my weather app is currently predicting it'll be under 90°F, which is within the realm of reasonable around now, IMO. I do believe I'll be taking a walk through it this year, maybe stop to hear the Quire.

Not without a mask, though. Definitely gonna keep that up.

we did the same thing for Northmen. It's a small number of people in a massive high ceiling two story high tiered theater. N-95s and avoided people.

Not without a mask though. Hell no.

Going to movies has been one of the few things I've been okay doing... but only when I can pick seats and see how many people are already in the theater so that we can skip it if it's too crowded. (We always go on Tuesdays if we do, because it's cheap day, and because early afternoon on a Tuesday we have OFTEN been the only two there.)

Oof, yeah, it's getting hot. I'll take hot over cold any day, but the 99° yesterday was pushing it! I'm planning on going to our Pride as well, the last weekend of June, so we'll see what the temperatures are like.
