After the horrific car expenses twice last year, this year's tax refund finally got my checking account back to normal levels! I was sitting at a nice, comfy spot for almost two months.

Almost. And now the check engine light is on 😭

Yeah, my mechanic thought it was just a false alarm when I called about it, and he fit me in that morning! Turns out it wasn't a false alarm, but it also took less time and cost less money than I was braced for. I think he said it was an oxygen sensor? Anyway, it's fixed up now, so I'm just going to continue treating it the best I can.
