[Origi]Fic: Divine Wrath: 1/1

Well, someone needed to let people know that it was okay to write MGI fic. Figured it may as well be me.

"Fandom:" Magical Girl Icka
Summary: In which the Goddess Icka finds out that the Goddess Ysabet is up to something.
Fic: Divine Wrath

The Goddess Icka strolled into the domain of the Goddess Ysabet, carefully casual. She knocked lightly on one of the pillars. "Ysabet? You in?"

The Goddess Ysabet looked up from whatever delightful dish she had been preparing. "Icka?" She bounced happily. "What brings you here?"

The Goddess Icka cleared her throat. "I, ah, heard you had a new avatar on the mortal plain. And that you were trying for world domination."

"Well, er, yes."

"I also heard," the Goddess Icka continued, "that you were using my vampire squid to do it."

The Goddess Ysabet squirmed nervously. "One of my ferrets dragged one in the other day, and they were just so good at sapping energy out of people that I couldn't help it! I was going to give you the southern hemisphere. And we could have split Japan--three islands each, and draw a line down the middle of the big one! I was planning to surprise you. I already have California taken over."

For a moment, the Goddess Icka was touched. She had always wanted to conquer the world, but with one thing and another she had never found the time. And the whole southern hemisphere, as well as half of Japan--she was tempted.

She considered it, then shook her head. "I'm sorry, but you kidnapped my squid. I need those squid to suck useless bits of inspiration off of non-writing and non-drawing fans and then plant them as whole ideas into my avatar's head. I'm afraid I'm going to have to activate my avatar's powers and put a stop to you." With that, the Goddess Icka turned around and walked briskly off. If she started now she might be able to have this taken care of before any more plunnies escaped her reach. She might even be able to get the Great Kiwi to help.

The Goddess Ysabet bounced as she watched her go. "Well damn," she said. "There goes that plan. At least it'll be a decent substitute for television for a while."

--Fin--

Really didn't like the way the ending turned out on paper, so had to re-hash the whole thing while typing. Whatcha think, guys? Reasonable explanation for why Magical Girl Icka's fighting in the first place or no?

Also, this and the rest of MGI is probably the closest I will ever get to writing Real Person fic. Damned if I can tell how 'IC' anyone is, though I gave it my best shot; gimme a shout if anyone's too far off, 'specially if you can suggest or help me find a way to fix it in a way that I would still have a story.

At least it'll be a decent substitute for television for a while.

That line is Teh WIN! XD *dies*

Actually sounds like a plausible reason for the entire deal *sniggers madly*

%smile ^___^%
That would explain the voices nicely, hee~

And having had some french fan fic about me and a net consort as a detective duo, I can vouch that it is extremely hard to have the characters IC compared to real life. What counts is that the character's remain consistent, somewhat loyal to impressions, and also that reader's can feel the distance between the fic and reality so as not to make embarrassing assumptions -^^p
At least that's my 2cents.

Fun XcD Yes, definately a reasonable explanation IMHO.

Ahh! You can totally write. And like, draw, too. You should do this stuff for real. I'd definitely invest in you.
