I feel the need to post this picture again, because Independence Day.

Now, to find a physical fan mail address for the Colbert Report. (I know, I know, I should really just ask the reference desk at the library, but I keep forgetting! Also, social phobia, even if my mom is a librarian.)

Happy fourth day of July to all, regardless of location! And, er, fifth day of July to some.

Hello,

There's a couple of addresses listed on a fansite for the Colbert Report which I would be happy to pass on if you'd like?

Also, I can't think of a non-awkward way to say "hi - I'm a lurker mclurkerson"...so, hi :) I think I found your blog via Shakesville but I can't remember exactly what prompted me to seek it out...I think it might have been mention of a recipe or crochet related though.

Thank you for the welcome :) I get just as nervous messaging people online for the first time as I would approaching them in real life. Well, maybe a little less. There's less blushing certainly! :)

According to the fansite the address to send things to is:

Stephen Colbert
c/o The Colbert Report
Comedy Central
513 West 54th Street
New York, NY 10019

They also have an address for Stephen's Manager and one for his Publicist: http://www.colbertnewshub.com/site-faq/

No problem. As you can see, I can be a bit slow to reply myself :)

I hope it does show up. I'd love to hear about it if it makes an appearance!
