Rat Mood Redux

Okay, these should be the real Final Rats, unless I find any other moods I want to re-do.

Finally done! I cheated a little bit and re-used not just the original Touched mood images, but I also only drew the ring splint once and copy-pasted it onto the others 😅 I did do some minor shape/size tweaking for one of them, though, and I think it turned out okay! Overall, I'm pleased with the results, and very pleased to have what I consider to be a decent range of representation for this mood.

I was also in a tiny bit of a hurry to get these done this week. The next break for [community profile] moodthemeinayear is coming up, and Touched was one of the moods for the current part! Since I like to share all the moods for a given part in the relevant break, I needed to get a move on with these; and I figured I'd finish up my other two outstanding alternate moods while I was at it...

I can't remember offhand exactly which mood it was that I first drew a rat clutching its own tail, but I was entirely on point with that design choice. Such a good way to express nervousness! Checking the moods, it looks like Nervous (apropiately) and Embarrassed are the other two moods with a rat clutching its tail, so I'm guessing it was one of them 😜 I think Embarrassed might be slightly more likely, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out if I go looking.

The owl isn't perfect, but it's plenty good enough for 100x100 pixels; I definitely like that it's less busy than the calico cat for Intimidated, and it looks so dynamic swooping in for Rushed. I think it's a winner! I don't know how many people will use either version, since there are bound to be cat fans as well, but I am happy to have both. I do wish I'd figured out the "rat gripping its own tail" thing before I did the first version of Intimidated, though 😂

As per usual (oops), it's late, so I'll be switching out the old versions of Intimidated and Rushed in the morning. I probably won't go out of my way to replace the old links, and will instead just add the two new links to the end of the list, because that's 132 links I'd have to sort through. Even with find-and-replace, that's a chore!

I'll also be throwing in links to the moods I've decided to use as icons, because that's something I've been doing. I've been avoiding using the icons for general posts, and instead stick to using them in the comments section, perhaps out of an over abundance of caution, but whatever; I'll probably change that as soon as I get the icon links up, though, because sometimes a post about rat art just needs an art rat!

Edit: Links are up in the block post, woot! Now I need a nap 😅

I've been following your rat icons at mood theme in a year and I love the whole set! You did an amazing job! If mood themes weren't a paid feature I'd 100% be using these!

Thank you - and yes, a zip file would be amazing :D You mentioned stickers and phone icons; I think they're so cute there are endless possibilities :D
