I cleaned out my car today! There has been absolutely no room to sit in the back seat for several years, due to me piling stuff in there haphazardly and then ignoring it for ages on end. I've been meaning to get to it for a while, but the news that the heat dome is headed my way combined with the bottles of expired hand sanitizer in my trunk added up into just enough fear to kick my butt into high gear. It went faster than I thought, but I still sweated approximately a bucketful and am now kicking it in the basement, AC on, a cold pack on my neck and a fan going. Plus Gatorade. ...I really don't like being too hot.

In other news, my awesome, most favorite boss ever just turned in her notice, and will be moving away on August 8th. So we've still got a month with her, and to find another employee (please, God, please), but I will still miss her very much. See: Favorite boss ever.

Car cleaning is something I struggle with. I always feel better when it's done, though. Maybe this weekend, if it's not going to be effing 90 *again*...

I didn't really do a deep clean, just cleared out all of the stuff that was all over my back seats (save two towels, because it's good to know where your towels are). Probably because I was only moving stuff, it felt a lot easier than I was expecting.
