General frustration
May. 28th, 2005 07:29 pm...Okay, yesterday was quite possibly the longest day of my life. Thankfully, it's over and I got away with wearing wings on my ears during the graduation ceremony. I'll post pictures once I get software for the scanner and get it to work :D. To those of you at graduation that I did not get to say this to after ceremonies, Congrats! ^_^ To those of you who've heard it already, well, congrats again.
I was happily surprised by our class president's speech--the x-ray glasses were, I thought, a nice touch ^_^
I'm also glad that Mr. Brandstetter got to speak instead of Mr. Hartwig. I think he did a really great job, and I think I liked his speech better than I would've liked Mr. Hartwig's--no offense meant to therabid avid Hartwig followers ^_~
Anyway, after such a long day--well, week really--I decided to skip Shinkendo today. And parties ^^; Sorry about that, Chris! I'll probably be able to convince myself to drop by Pat's or Hannah's tomorrow, but I may still feel the need to recover, because WOW, am I drained! *_* So sorry in advance if I don't make it. *knock on wood*
Had a good time bonding with my aunt yesterday; that was a plus ^_^ And now I'm actually actually done with high school. *sigh of relief* No more of that, thank you! It was better than a lot of high school experiences could have been, but I'd still rather not repeat it. Also, no picketers, yay!
I've gotten rather sick of Pomp and Circumstance, though. Especially since I had to go emotionally detatched during the whole ceremony (or maybe even the past week or so =_=) to keep from breaking down/wigging out. Otherwise I'm certain I would be viewing it with less distaste and more favor.
And on a different note! I've dug up some old timelines for Communications ^___^ This is quite nice, because I was wondering what order I was going to do some of this in. (It also reveals I could've plotted Shiho in better *_* but that can be fixed without too much trouble.) Sadly, I have misplaced my paper copy of the last chapter and, it appears, the only copy I had of a little 'interlude' (much like 'Tuxedo') I had written about Shin'ichi getting used to things which I had planned to post today ;_; I hate re-writing things, because I'm never certain I'll be able to get the turns-of-phrase down as well as I did in the original. (I've had to do it before, and that's how things have turned out when I ended up finding the original =_=) So I'm going to go poking around for a bit more, and then... whether I find it or not... I'm going to settle down, and work with Heiji >3 I made him run into Hakuba for a reason after all; it's about time we got around to it!
And then, the real fun starts <3 <3 <3
*begins plotting*
