IN OTHER NEWS! As of Thursday, I am a successful two-gallon blood donor :Dbb I'm actually still feeling the effects somewhat :|a My nails (particularly on my index finger) are going white when I extend my fingers out - not stretching them or anything, just "flattening" them. De-curling them. Whatever.
I have no idea if this happens to me every time and I'm only noticing it now, or if it's a worse-than-usual reaction. I'm leaning towards the latter.
On the plus side, it seems to be turning me diurnal again?

[Trigger Warning for transphobia]
In more serious linking, today marks the twelfth annual Transgender Day of Remembrance.
There's some general information here: About The Day of Remembrance at Transgender.org; you can find a list of events and locations here.
Shakesville also has a couple of great posts up today: Transgender Day of Remembrance, and November 20.
My heart goes out to everyone who has suffered because of transphobic violence, directly and indirectly. I hope we'll see an end to it someday soon - and I promise to do my best as a cis ally to fight for that end whenever I can.
