A possibly belated THANK YOU

While I'm on the subject of gifts, here's an actual conversation from yesterday!
Brother: I got you something you didn't expect for Christmas.
Me: Hey! I got you something you didn't expect for Christmas, too!
Mom: Does that mean you got each other the Spanish Inquisition?
All: LOL!
Later, as I was opening my present from my brother:
Me: Oh my gosh! It's the Spanish Inquisition! I never expected that!
(He actually got me the Hark! A Vagrant book. I was indeed quite surprised, and also quite pleased ♥ And I crocheted him Team Sleuth. His first plan: Pose them as a team, 'cuz shit just got IRL.)
Back to Dreamwidth Points and such!

Dreamwidth is awesome and I'm sure we would all love for them to get more money! And since the "people who can buy things with a credit card rather than PayPal" and "Dreamwidth" Venn diagram bubbles don't completely overlap, I would like to offer my services as a go-between. Here's how it works:
1) You reply to this post and/or PM me to let me know you're interested, so I know who's involved
2) You send me the amount you want to spend at my PayPal account, socchan (at) gmail (dot) com (you're welcome to wait for me to respond to your comment/PM first). Please either let me know how much you're spending in a PM and/or include your Dreamwidth ID in the PayPal note thing.
3) I use that money to buy Dreamwidth points
4) I transfer the points to you; this will include the promotional bonus points unless it's January/you tell me otherwise
5) You use the points to buy nifty things on Dreamwidth
I made the same offer in the most recent news post (of pure win), which you should check out if you haven't yet.
BTW, lemme know if you find out about a fandom auction for the Philippines, okay? I wanna help out if I can :(b And for anyone in the Philippines/with family there, I hope y'all are okay and weren't hit too hard!
Edit: Content from deleted journals is disappearing on LJ. I'm not sure how to feel about this myself yet; I guess I don't remember having a lot of conversations and such with people who went on to delete their journals? Still, I'd say it's pretty important information.
Coments, at least are reported to still be showing up in S2 and custom comment pages, so the data should still be there. There's no telling how long, though, so if you want to save that sort of thing, importing and/or taking screencaps sooner rather than later would be a good idea.
