Cosplay Stuff

Pat stopped by today, and we got some work done towards making costumes. As in, we sat around and looked at pictures so I could get an idea of how to draw the patterns for the costumes ^^; God, I'm so lazy. I never get around to doing that sort of thing unless I can do it with someone. It's a weakness.
Anyway! We talked a lot over FMA comics. It was quite amusing. Here, let me quote some:

Me: Hey, does Ed's coat have a slit up the back?
Pat: Dunno. It would certainly be easier to sit down that way.
Me: Here's a pic without one. But then here's a pic with one.
Pat: Here's a nice pic from the back.
Me: Okay, he's definitely got the slit.
Me: ....
Me: Wow, that thing goes pretty far up. It's almost like the coat was made with other activities in mind or something.
Pat: XD

Me: Wow, the military buttcapes' slits go up almost as far as Ed's. WTF, Arakawa-sensei.

Me: ...Izumi has a slit, too? Okay, something's not quite kosher here.

Pat: Come on, you guys, turn around already!
Me: We need an ass shot!
Pat: I mean, your faces are pretty, but--won't finish that.
Me: XD
Can you tell why I like making costumes with a friend so much?
Anyway, managed to get most of the details recorded. Am more or less pleased with our progress.
Also sent off my registration for Anime Iowa today. Remember guys, there's only a few days left before you have to pay full price! And you want to spend that money on anime-related merchandise instead.
Unrelated notes: The plunnies, they have returned to me! T^T I'm so happy--!
Oh, and yesterday, I apperantly caused someone to write Ino/Sakura smut :D The world now has one more ninja!yuri fic ♥ Go me!Must retaliate...
I would not be a bit surprised if I find out that I have cyclothymia.
