Need Info

Okay, I need any information I can get on Excalibur (including, if needed, correct spelling -_-; ). Especially needed are physical descriptions of the sword itself, especially whether or not I could sneak a jewel into the hilt anywhere, and any properties it is said to have (other than being wielded by the One True King). Yes, I could probably look this up myself, but I'm lazy and want to see what I can get with little effort on my part first.
Also being researched: Flame test element colors. (I swear to God, pyromaniacs are the best thing since sliced bread.)
Randomly, I seem to be writing better when I'm tired O_o. I wonder what that means. I won't worry until I start sleepwriting *knocks on wood* but I'm still curious.
