Pokémon Legends Z-A
Mar. 6th, 2026 11:24 pmFinally actually playing this after a brief stint where I was too annoyed to look at it. (The fact that you can't turn off auto-save in the game pisses me off.)
I'm not very far in yet; only made it to my first advancement match. I'm liking the story and the characters so far, but the gameplay... Look, I like turn-based gameplay. I'll probably at least try to knuckle through to the end of this, but I do miss that from the other games. Add to it the fact that the 3D camera is making me kinda dizzy, and, well.
Honestly, a replay of Fire Red and/or Leaf Green and watching the cut scenes/a Let's Play on YouTube is looking pretty appealing by comparison.

Date: 2026-03-09 03:51 am (UTC)yet, and it's not the worst I ever had (that dubious honor goes to Traverse Town in the first Kingdom Hearts game, which made me literally physically ill once), but it still makes me pine dearly for the 2D Gameboy games.I'm not going to give up on it yet, but in the future, I'll definitely be thinking twice about any Legends game that doesn't introduce anything I can transfer to Pokémon Home.
