Brain: Assuming 'while Hakuba's not chasing Kaito' means between heists, there are exactly two ways to do that here. A: Write a Shin'ichi and Hakuba thing during a heist. B: Write a long-term Shin'ichi and Hakuba thing.

Whether or not 'while not chasing Kaito' means between heists, Option A triumphed a short while ago -_-. The resulting fic is short, pointless, has boys kissing, and ends on a blond note. I'm also officially making it your New Year's gift, so it's not going up until midnight Dec 31/Jan 1, US central time unless I am bribed. Still managing to fight off Option B for the time being.
