May. 18th, 2006 10:21 pmMade it past screening to donate blood today :DD Almost didn't make it, since my heart rate was up for some reason. I guess I was really excited about it or something. Managed to get it down on the third try. Had a can of tea, a can of strawberry soda, and three cookies ^_^ I love it ♥
Went out and bought birthday presents for my dad today. Got him a water lily, a purple clomatas, two orb-things (he's into round objects for yard art at the moment) and a dozen feeder fish. Had to give him the first and last today, as they wouldn't do well outside the pond for long, but the others can wait until the actual day tomorrow :3 ...Pro'ly gonna have to find out more about care for fish in a backyard pond. There's gotta be something about cleaning or living space.
Oh yeah, yesterday's emo thing. My internet connection is officially going bye-bye for the summer as of June 1st. The exceptions are as follows: a) I get a job and pay for it myself; b) I do about as much volunteer work as would count for a job; c) I take a lot of hours at school. I'd really like for the first one to happen, though I've pretty much resigned myself to it not happening--or at least, not with my current lack of experience and schooling. The second one is also good, because while it may not earn me money (cry, cry ;_; ) it'll still keep me occupied and it'll make me feel good ^_^ ...I'm really not sure about the likelihood of it, though I'm hoping it's a bit higher than the first option. The third one I'm not sure about. I think I may have missed the deadline for signing up for classes, and if I haven't then there's probably not a lot of stuff I'd want to take left. Plus, college does not do much for making my life structured. I kinda thrive in structure ^^a I had a hunch this time last year that I would've been better off at one of those "One course at a time" places, but the only one I know of around here is Cornell, and they're damn expensive :/ *sigh* Need structure!
Finally, this CFUD app is kicking my ass royally =_= Someone out there willing to let me bounce ideas off of you? I wanna get this thing finished so I can have it beta'd and (eventually) send it in, but I need more ideaaaas DDD:
Edit: Brain, plz to be stop attempting to slash God Candidates from Law of Ueki with their power users. The age thing alone should squick us >_O Move on to attempting to slash the Candidates with each other or something.
Oh, also, more details on my internet-emo thing in my reply to Lyzz's comment down there ¦D Silly socchan, forgetting to include the other important bits!
Edit 2: It occurs to me that I never said exactly how I hoped to do the idea-bouncing. I'm thinking another post, but I have MSN messenger, Yahoo! messenger (though I'm never on ^^a), and I can do e-mails. My reasoning on 'another post' is so I don't have to type the same thing more than once, and more brains working together equals greater potential humor/brainbreak. Plus, I can lock the post in paranoia (or just white everything out). But other methods might work as well? *is typing this at one in the morning on Saturday, and maybe just a little desperate*
