Yeah, okay, I know Thanksgiving Weekend is long over, and that the library and Kirkwood computer labs are open and have been open for a while now. Sorry! Aside from self-imposed hiatus of sorts (in which I actually did get a lot of work done on my room, but it's still only half clean), I have entered what I am calling the Busiest Week Ever. Not that there may have been busier weeks for me, or may be busier weeks in the future, but man, it doesn't feel like it at the moment. Here's what things look like at the moment (with a little back-tracking, for clarity's sake):

Monday: Mom's birthday. Went out to eat and then stayed home to watch Fried Green Tomatos. Little/no time for internet.
Tuesday: Classes noon to five; Life Coach appointment five-thirty to seven-thirty (in which more room cleaning occured); visit with out-of-town aunt eight o'clock to nine-thirty (plus half-hour drive either way). No time for internet.
Wednesday (today): Class starting at two o'clock (I'm here early for the express purpose of attempting to catch up on 'net stuff); technically ends at two-fifty, but will be going over so we can watch a movie (Holes; we saw The Princess Bride on Monday ♥); ducking out early to go attempt to donate blood. May or may not be back on time to see the end, depending on iron levels. Will probably have more free time this evening in which to catch up more.
Thursday (tomorrow): Classes from noon to five, with one hour break at two. Also my birthday; family will probably want to do stuff together as a result, and I'm inclined to go with that. May or may not get internet time.
Friday: Psychologist appointment sometime during the day (need to double-check time). ICARE World AIDS Day event concert with the Quire at Riverside Theater; call time at five-thirty. Need to pick someone up and arrive before then to drop her off. Concert is followed by "First Friday (of the Month)" party at our house, with friends and family invited. (Starts at seven, if in-town people are interested ^_~) Will probably be missing/need to tape Avatar season finale as a result. Little time to surf the 'net.
Saturday: ??? Pat, Chris, I know we had tentative plans to do something as a psuedo-birthday celebration of sorts; we get anything solidified?

I think that's everything for this week. And now, it's catch-up time.

PS: I seem to have missed a couple of birthday notifications :D;;; Anyone still interested in one? Or even glitter-graphics comments? I can also do ninjas :O

So, uh, kinda partially cutting off my catching-up-on-LJ-entries. (Over 150 to get through x_x I may end up just asking "What the hell happened over the last week (that I might need to know about)?" Or something.) This is mostly because it is damn cold outside, and possibly will be icy shortly, and while I actually quite like driving in the snow, I don't yet know completely how I feel about ice. Well, except that I hate scraping it off the outside and the inside of the windows. ...Yeah. I don't know either.

Fell short of iron count at the blood center, so donation was out for today. This made me sad, as apparently this next unit will be my first gallon, thus winning me a T-shirt. Rescheduled for December 20 at 3:30. Can't help but wonder what the blood situation is like around that time of year; will they have more blood, because the season makes people more generous/think more of their fellow human beings? Or will there be less, because suicides and such also tend to jump up in numbers around this time of year? Or will the numbers balance each other out somehow? *pondery ponder*

Also, the number one reason for me not to let my room get dirty is as follows: when I clean it? I find/remember a bunch of projects I wouldn't have otherwise. I have now been reminded of such items as Small Things, The Holiday Spirit (DC/MK-Christmas Carol fusion-like thing?), and Misinformation II. In fact, I found a number of fics that have never seen what I like to think of as "the relative light of being posted on the internet." ...Maybe I should get around to doing some of that.

Anyway! Saw this on the f'list, thought it looked fun, so I snatched.

The Unpopular Opinions Meme:

01. Post this on your journal. (You know, if you're down with it.)
02. Your friends will comment with some of your fandoms or some general topic about fandom.
03. In a new post (or in comments) respond back with one or two of your unpopular opinions for that fandom or topic.

Plz note that for a number of fandoms? I have no idea what other people think. This is because I largely avoid them. I will, however, still provide opinions, unpopular or not!

...And yeah. That's it for now, I guess.
