Twelve Days of Holiday-ish Stuff
Dec. 21st, 2008 11:13 pmSo hi. It's me again, that gal who's failing horribly at replying to comments in her own journal at the moment. Sadly, it seems to have become a trend for me that when I don't feel like replying to comments for reasons I cannot comprehend, I immediately default to Not Updating Mode. This... should change. Well, that or my near fanatical desire to reply to 99.8% of comments left in my journal; either-or.
Anywho, posting at the moment to announce my intent to do a "Twelve Days of Holiday-ish Stuff" sorta thing. See, I was first kinda leaning towards Christmas, because not a lot of people know that the "twelve days of Christmas" actually starts on the twenty-fifth, and doesn't end on it, and I thought I could do something cool with that. But in the end, I didn't have quite enough inspiration for that, and kinda felt that posting Christmas-y stuff after Christmas (that wasn't specifically "twelve days of" oriented) felt kinda anti-climactic. And then I looked at the calendar and realized that, hey! The first day of winter (and, coincidentally (at least this year), the winter solstice) and New Year's Day are twelve days apart! I could definitely line some stuff up that way!
Basically, I'd like to announce my intent to post stuff for the next twelve days or so (today included). I've got a Christmas-y fic I've been sitting on a couple years now that I've been meaning to finish writing, and some Christmas music I could post, and some other, more generic stuff I've been working on - the first of which I'll be posting tonight, in honor of all the absolutely terrific [/sarcasm] weather we've been having lately.
I'll try and get back to those other commenters from Monday as well, but uh. Current priority is on the story.

abarero just posted an absolutely hilarious Blue Beetle fic she wrote for me right over here. It's called Even Superheroes Need Fashion Consultants, and you should all go read it and leave lots of comments expressing how great it is. Uh, warning for mild (really mild) Khaji Da → Jaime tones? Er. Th-that's by my preferences, actually /)_(\
