In the future, remember to trust the awesome-looking free website with lots and lots of info over the cheap, cheap, ten dollar kit with the tiny sixty-four page book. The kit is probably doing it wrong, and also already has your money, so has no reason to want to please you further.

Yeeeeaaah. Put the ruler(s) on this morning, switched the ring out for a little flower. Just now finished the first leg arrow, and am now resting my leg and praying it doesn't cramp the hell up. Really should've taken the web site's advice and strained the damn henna. It's lumpy as fuck all right now, and therefore not flowing all that smoothly out of the tube =_=

Also, the recipe in the book was seriously messed up. Only two teaspoons of henna powder and one teaspoon of sugar[y substance] to five tablespoons of liquid? Psheah, right. Only if I wanna paint with henna. Ended up having to add most of the rest of the packet this morning, which can -not- have been good for the overall effect.

Ah, well. I'll know better next time. *sigh*
