XMAS-Y STUFF AHEAD

First things first: My heart grew three sizes and now I have an enlarged heart. WORTH IT. [Minor TRIGGER WARNING for mention of self-harm, in an "overcoming the desire" sense]
There is something in my eye, but that's totally not why I'm crying. In fact, the tears may be helping to excise whatever it is. That, or it's my imagination, but wev, I'm still crying out of genuine feeling rather than eye-thing-ness.
Anyway. This is the amazing story of one woman's attempt to make Christmas a little better for folks in need - and how her regular readers stepped up to the challenge when she ran out of gift cards and sent their own money to over four hundred people who needed a little help to make Christmas more cheery. The reports of people whose holidays were made from giving are just ...I don't have the words to describe it. Crowning Moment of Heartwarming, perhaps? Yeah, that'll work.

I got soooo much swag for Xmas *_* So much swag! I got books, I got Beauty and the Beast on DVD (finally \o/), I got this shirt and all the Homestuck music, all of it*, from my beloved brother (ILU, brother dearest! ♦♦♦! (←Is that right?)) I got Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (whee, Deoxys and Manaphy!), and I treated myself to Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions since it was $10 at Best Buy ¦Db
All in all, I am quite happy with my swag pile. My folks and brother liked their presents too, so it's all good by me ♥
* Until pretty much right this minute, but hell, even I can afford ~$1.50 USD. *sees "proceeds to charity"* *...adds another dollar* Bah, humbug ;) Squiddles Save Christmas! Eeeeee! *Kermit!flail*

I wanted to share The Quire's music, since I finally got it all ripped again, but it looks like MediaFire is being assholeish just now. Instead, I will just express my frustrations with it, and with the fact that the Sister Claire Advent Contest results will be shown tomorrow instead of today. I mean, I completely empathize with those who waited until the last minute to make their things and are not done yet! And I will probably enjoy seeing the lovely fanart that is not mine! But I wanna get the waiting and suspense over with ^^a (Especially since more entries means the chances that I will win something go down, but I'll live if I don't win. The waiting, on the other hand, may do me in. [/hyperbole])
