The score so far

I am not going to fucking let this holiday win. I refuse. *stubborns her way through the day*
That aside, sob sob sob, it's not even entirely over yet ;_; Valentines Day apparently lasts over a week for us at the flower store, which means I'm at about eight days in a row of working, and face day nine tomorrow. At least my paycheck will be nice :(
Interesting moments of the day:
* Middle-aged man came in to "observe the chaos" and order some flowers. He first showed up in a rush, and then the second time in a lull. He seemed pretty cool, all things considered :)
* Someone called in to order flowers to be delivered tomorrow. Person who ordered flowers for tomorrow instead of today, I salute you. You were a bright note in my day T^Tb
* Young white dude came in and started trying to bargain for an entire bucket of roses. He made noises about buying five dozen, or "the whole bucket", etc, but eventually walked off with a mere forty-two roses. I remain both amused and curious, though retrospectively irked at the price he managed to wrangle out of us/me :/ *grumbles* At least I've got a good counter for the next time racist shit comes up.
I'll probably post something more flowery and romantic about love a little later, but right now I just want to put my feet up for a while. In the mean time, Lis has an absolutely beautiful post up over at Shakesville on the subject.
Sob sob, I wanna curl up and read and/or write Valentines Day fic until the sun comes up ;_; I DUN WANNA WORK TOMORROW! [/whinge]
