Some things
Feb. 22nd, 2011 11:41 pmDid that not-posting thing again. Ah well. At least updating regularly isn't on my list of 2011 goals.
I've started collecting various crochet hooks! Just different types of materials and styles and stuff really, not like "Must have one of every size from every brand and as many colors as possible!!!" or anything. Digging through Etsy for specialty/just plain different crochet hooks definitely on my to-do list.
One of the hooks I picked up recently is the Crochet Lite from Clover. I got the H/5.00mm size one, which is kinda periwinkle. This is what it looks like when it's lit up, though the screencaps I had to resort to hardly do justice to the blinding whiteness at its point.
I have taken to thinking of it as the Crochet Hook of White Science, because I am a giant geek and easily amused like that. Whenever I get around to crocheting Eridan (because I plan to crochet them all eventually, see: giant geek), I totally plant to do at least a few stitches with this; more, with luck. Though I need some sort of compensation for Rose, since there is just no way I'm going to be able to knit a plush of her, let alone with Knitting Needles of Black Magic :(

This is totally a thing that is happening :Dbb The first round is open for prompts from anime/manga/manhwa/manhua/video games, and I 100% intend to leave a few of my own. More than a few, even.I can't help it if I don't want to be the only person I know who has written from Heart Pounding Excitement at Mononoke Girls Academy any more D: This being my circle/f'list, I feel relatively safe in assuming that at least a few of you are also interested in this ;) I encourage you to also play along, even if the extent of your playing is just leaving prompts or reading whatever is filled. (More is also cool, though.)
Speaking of yuri, I'm still waiting for my copies of Steam Powered to show up. They may not have even gotten in the mail yet, but at least I know what's going on for now. If it takes another two weeks, I'll probably send a very anxious e-mail about it, though I'm certainly hoping it won't take that long.
Aaaand that's all for now. I'll blah blah more later, I'm sure.
