New colors

Changed up my journal theme for the first time since Neutral Good for Practicality was made the default. I was very fond of it, but I needed a change, especially since I expect any number of people will be using the default theme shortly. Mostly, I don't want to be reading a post on someone else's journal and assume for some reason that I'm reading on my own.

I'm currently using Green Machine for Lefty, though we'll see how long that lasts. I like the colors and the general setup, but I'm not sure how I feel about switching from visual icons (locks and such) for levels of privacy to verbal levels of privacy, and I don't know yet if it has account color associations on the reading page. I suppose I'll have to do a bit more digging.

Worse comes to worst, I'll go back to Practicality and pick a different them from those options. I do remain amused at how many MLP:FIM inspired themes I can identify from them...

Socchan vs Sewing

It took a decent amount of wrestling with my sewing machine, but I successfully stitched together six new face masks! A couple of which are "for me", since some of the ones I made closer to the beginning of the pandemic have, er, "gone missing" (translation: Ended up in Mom's stash and/or mailed to one of my grandmas), but the rest of which will be more-or-less up for grabs. My parents will get first dibs, including if they have anyone they want to give any to, and then I'll probably drop some off with my next set of ear savers.
