I'm torn between crying and being sick

The world is a terrible, terrible place sometimes. Frequently, even. Suffice to say, I do not particularly want to think about this [STRONG TRIGGER WARNING], but feel it deserves mention. I can barely skim the surface without tearing up.
I hope--Well, she's obviously not okay, but I hope she makes it. I hope she isn't blamed for what those despicable excuses for human beings did to her (though I know enough of the world and society at large to expect it). I hope that those who committed this atrocity, who participated in any way in victimizing her, will get their just deserts.
Perhaps most importantly, I want her to find whatever strength and healing she needs, and I want her friends, her family, and the community as a whole to support her in this.
I'm going to try and find something fluffy to cheer me up now.
