You make me very sad. D: Both series are chock-full of angst, btw, just a warning. Gorgeous Carat is by You Higuri, and it's about an aristocratic boy who loses everything and is more or less sold by his mother to a high-class jewel thief to ensure the family's survival. Or something like that.

...Ahaha... I still haven't seen the turtle movie. D: I'm going to see OotP on the 11th! :D

Okay, let me try this again. Is it Mary-Sue Angst, or Angst For The Sake of Angst, or does the angst actually have a basis on plot that is not just for emo?

Aha! Okay, I get it now. Well, uh... Which series are we talking about? Because in Gorgeous Carat, I'm thinking most of the emo is plot emo. In Hands Off! there is plot angst and then also one of the main characters is just a bundle of angst because he's dumb like that.

Oh, but. Hands Off! is way angstier. ^^; I sobbed during Hands Off! at like every other volume. The angst in Gorgeous Carat is more or less brief and taken care of relatively quicker. Hands Off! is way cuter, though. But it's up to you!

Sorry I wasn't clear. ^^; This post (http://community.livejournal.com/free_manga/2369982.html) has volumes 1-5 of Hands Off! and this thread (http://community.livejournal.com/free_manga/2369982.html?thread=20031678#t20031678) has volumes 6-8, which I'm pretty sure is all of it.
I can only find raws of Gorgeous Carat, though. :< Actually, both of these series I read in actual volume format at Books-A-Million. ^^;
