soc_puppetSo! Updates and responses to Lurker Day stuff in a minute here (and I mean it this time!), but first!
I just saw Whip It for the first time.
My world was rocked ♥♥♥ (New favorite movie, OMG!)
Next up: Reading the book, breaking my own sorry skates out of retirement (probably just for skating, not likely for derby-ing), fangirling wildly. Aaaaahhhhhhh, so awesome, OMG OMG OMG ♥_♥

Oh yeah, and before I forget, it's Altered Books time again!
Some of you may remember Mary-Sue from last year(ish)? Well, this year, I'm reconstructing The Da Vinci Code.
I think I'm going to make a puzzle - you know, like the cardboard puzzles, some number of pieces, put 'em together to make a picture?
I'm thinking the Mona Lisa, except not all the puzzle pieces fit exactly right, and if you squint, where that one hand is cut off, it almost looks kinda like she's flipping you off ;)
Thoughts? Opinions? "You should totally do [x] instead"? Tearing me down because I thought the book was poorly written? All are welcome here <3
