Needs moar sugar?

Having spent the last... hour or so absently looking at pictures of parfaits (and then getting distracted by recipes for French food, orz), I have decided one thing:
I am cooking when I get home. Quite possibly baking. And it will likely involve chocolate chip cookies and attempts to coat the bottoms of said cookies with chocolate.
...This is totally just practice for when I need to make something for Kirkwood's Anime Club Bake Sale next month and not just an excuse to eat sugary goodness, really.
Alternately, I will sit on the couch and crack hickory nuts, as I still have an abundance in the cupboard above the 'fridge and they make my hands smell nice.

Date: 2007-09-15 08:34 pm (UTC)At the Sycamore mall there's Waldenbooks; they've got a good three wall-shelved devoted to it at the moment. And then there's Barnes and Noble in the Coral Ridge Mall.
I think that's about it, though you can sometimes also pick up manga second-hand at Northside Book Market and The Haunted Bookshop.
And if all else fails, the Public Library's selection of manga is growing spectacularly.
