soc_puppetArgh argh argh argh argh why are none of my stupid FireFox widgets working. NOT fun. I miss my LJ login widget and the adblock thing which blocked the ads. Sadness! ...Anyone know how I should go about getting them back?
Other fronts:
* Bus driving job prospect seems to be going well. Going to a first aid lecture thing tomorrow morning pretty much immediately after my psychologist appointment, which I was assured by the training guy will be in the books. Which I'm guessing is a good sign re: hiring and such.
* My mood today was terrible. I'm willing to put half of it down to poor/lack of sleep, but man, at least some of it has to be because of classes. Both Culture and Technology and Intro to Eastern Religions have been turning out to be waaaaay more philosophy than I thought they'd be. And even that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't applied philosophy. "Here's a religious practice from Asia! Now, tell me about how you'd apply it to your life? Also, what does it mean! And I have a very specific answer in mind, which, if you don't get it, I will dig out of you by asking a series of poorly constructed questions!" "Here's half a dozen reasons why modern technology is making our life a living hell! Now here's two essays to read on it! Now apply these essays plus two more from last week to a paper on why cellphones suck!" Just... blaaaargh. Can't even Borkify it, since the widgets aren't working >:/ Grrrrrrrrr.
* Feeling slightly sick-ish! Can't tell what it is. Hoping it's just emotional bile/pus and I'll be able to bleed it out to my psychologist tomorrow.
On the positive side of the force, I seem to have gone and done that thing again where I completely unintentionally addicted Mom to one of my own recent obsessions. This is, quite possibly, one of the most entertaining things about having cool parents.
