Okay, I totally have a legit reason for not posting in so long this time. See, I had family visit. Family from California, including my totally adorable eight-year-old cousin Marty ♥

Highlights: Going to Vesta, the restaurant that my mom named (which has fantastic food guys, seriously, go there if you are ever in the Coralville area and have some cash to blow, it'll totally be worth the cost) and making a family crest for my visiting relatives.

I got twenty dollars out of the deal ♥ Makes those hours I spent making the cheese-and-sword image from scratch and tracing/coloring/altering the creation painting hands totally worth it. Even if I did have to delete the horn in the end. Oh, also, I've been given not only permission but encouragement to share it, so if you're interested in an icon version for any reason, I've got one here.

Oh, and they've decided their family saying/description/whatever you call it when it isn't a motto but is still assosciated with them (subtitle?) will be "Silent but deadly." I'm not sure if they've gone too far yet or not, though I suppose I can't complain, consiering we've gone and exposed their son to Robot Chicken.

The other thing I can think about is that I checked out and read the entirety of House of Many Ways yesterday, and enjoyed it quite a bit ♥ I'm contemplating whether to read it again before I return it or if I should just move on to the next book. Hmmm...
