Gripe, gripe, gripe
May. 17th, 2010 10:30 pmTomorrow~ I owe myself a nice, long, locked post about Other Roommate J. Despite the fact that it's mostly going to be bad-mouthing/gossiping behind her back (as she has no access to either my DW or LJ accounts, etc), and I normally do not like to do such things, I feel that A) getting some of it down in writing may help me find a solution or two (it's worked for me with fics), and B) it may buy me at least a month's patience in dealing with her. Which I will dearly need, since Roommate C and I sincerely screwed up this year and missed our chance to have the "We think you should think about finding other accommodations next year" talk with her before all three of us signed next year's lease a few months back. Gods, to default to Plan B >_<...

Dear Pharmacy Tech,
Uh, WTF. When you told me what the cost for 100 generic-for-prozac was going to be, I. Kinda assumed you were still going to be doling it out in monthly doses. Like you have been with my meds for, oh, the past four or five years I've been taking them with you?
Instead of how you gave them to me. In a single bulk bottle. That itself looks to be about the size of something you'd give a hippo, instead of the more usual horse-pill-sized bottles you usually give me.
If nothing else, I can completely understand how you wouldn't have quite that much of my other medication on hand, and would need it to wait until tomorrow. ...It's still a little much for me to take in just now, but whatever!
I'll just assume you're new. And try and clear things up a bit tomorrow, when I go to pick up my other pill bottle. Hopefully, I will be able to arrange for that to be in monthly doses, or my parents (who are amazing and currently footing my medication bills) will likely freak the fuck out over how huge the bill for that particular med will be. Because, as I recall, it's never been as cheap as generic-for-prozac, and has only been getting more expensive as the years go by.
Sincerely unimpressed (and slightly horrified to boot),
Me

Not exactly 100% a gripe!
This weekend, I was distracted from my
kinked story by YA lit.
I'm currently holding the second Skullduggery Pleasant book and the rest of The Red Pyramid hostage from myself until I get at least another thousand words done.
See, the books are great, they're just not helping me get any writing done ^^a Gods help me when Red Hood's Revenge comes out, and I should probably count myself lucky that The Broken Kingdoms is slated for fall instead of summer...
