So! Got a question for you.

If someone were to get, say, tiny smudges of permanent marker on their computer screen, and did not wipe them up immediately after getting them there, how might they be able to remove said smudges?

Alcohol and a rag made from an old t-shirt? Dunno if it'll work but it's a solvent and should be safe for the screen.

Hypothetical situation ended up being hypothetically solved with, of all things, a dry-erase marker (and then application of wet cloth), but that would have hypothetically been the next thing to try on my list.

From personal experience, easiest thing to do is get a dry-erase marker and draw over the permanent smudges! It kind of cancels them out. Then you can get rid of the dry-erase smudges with a little water and some cloth, preferably microfiber. o/
