You know what? Yes. Yes, I am going to use my Tentacles icon for this post rather than my Creative Process icon. Because I can. Also, I happen to think it looks quite smashing in Pragmatic/Neutral Good (DW's new default layout, though I picked it anyway).
Pictures time!
From that meme forever ago that I haven't actually forgotten: What I sent to
inarticulate:

DRAGON 8Db Okay, who's surprised? ;)
I'd wanted to make an Asian-style dragon for over a year, so when
inarticulate responded and said she was okay with crocheted stuff, I was all, "Perfect opportunity! \o/" Aside from some minor things that could use some tweaking (there's gaps in front of the legs, since I crocheted everything green from the neck down as all one piece and didn't quite have a grasp on slip-stitching back into the main work yet, I still feel kinda iffy about the yellow I used, and one of the whiskers is bent from being in exactly the wrong place in the skein), I'm pretty happy with it :3b No glue on the mane; turns out just twisting is just as effective. Yay, less work!
It's also the second of only two amigurumi I've ever made with buttons. I just couldn't get yarn eyes to work out for some reason :/ It worked out, though, so I'm satisfied. And, since it's non-fannish, I think I may look into selling the pattern :D Once I get a handle on the whole "selling things online" thing, and perhaps a better grasp of writing patterns in the first place. I'll probably add an option to make the legs separate from the body as well. Hmm...
For my younger brother, for Xmas: A pair of Tangle Buddies from Squiddles/MSPA/Homestuck:

"Hey, Squiddle, I bet you can't guess what I'm thinking!"
"No, Squiddle, what?"

"I'm thinking we should be--"
"...Tangle buddies! XD"

Alas, the magnets I thought to include in them are not strong enough to compel them to form Tangle Buddies from three feet away. Nor are they even strong enough for one to hold the other up, as demonstrated in the above picture, for more than a few seconds; I had to use a third magnet between the two of them to manage that :( I'll have to remedy that in any future Squiddles I make.
Well, maybe excepting the Rose-Style ones. But only maybe. I mean, can you imagine how mind-bendingly hilarious it would be to have a normal Squiddle form Tangle Buddies with a (vaguely) Lovecraftian one? It would be awesome, I'm telling you!
In retrospect, I probably should've used more pastel-y colors, but it's too late now. I'll put the pattern up on
hooked_on_anime once I've made and taken pictures of the Rose-Style one. Edit: Pattern is now up! Happy hooking :)
Leaving things there for now. Time to sleep, if I can manage it.
