I feel that so hard. I woulda been perfectly happy with nothing but piles and piles of Darcy-centric gen, but I had to resort to Darcy-ship fics, because otherwise she was mostly or entirely a background character in someone else's stories.
Come to think of it, MCU is probably one of the only mega-fandoms I'm even peripherally in where I prefer side characters and ships; I'm usually entirely on board with whatever the uber-ship is in my fandoms of choice.
Anyway! My kingdom for "secondary pairing" ship options, and if I ever get another kingdom, that for "secondary characters" options.
