soc_puppetMy Blueland cleaning supplies arrived! They actually arrived a few days ago, but I haven't gotten to trying them yet; I'll share my thoughts when I do.
I also picked up a third set of sheet straps/sheet garters when I was at the Dollar Tree on Tuesday. I am a very restless sleeper, and while I had already installed sheet straps on the corners of my fitted sheet and mattress pad, I was still getting a lot of clumping up in the middle of the sheet as a result of my tossing and turning and trying to find a comfortable position to fall asleep in. (Sort of. More like, I find a comfortable position and relax into it, but my brain isn't ready to fall asleep yet, so it decides that because I'm bored I need to roll over and find a new comfortable position, because that provides some small amount of stimulation. ...There are usually a good number of tosses and turns before I manage to get tired enough to fall asleep before getting bored again. Yay, ADHD!) Anyway, all this tossing and turning tends to end up with bunched up fabric right beneath me, and me sleeping on large lumps, which turns out to not actually be all that comfortable to sleep on, manage it though I do.
So after finding a new set of sheet straps at the Dollar Tree, I finally managed to get around to trying an idea I'd been toying around with for a while: I took a spare pillowcase and used it as a cloth go-between for the sheet straps and the long sides of my fitted sheet. I don't know if it'll work, but for the time and money invested in it, I certainly won't lose out much for trying it!
