Today I updated the Intro and Schedule posts at moodthemeinayear, in preparation of doing some community boosting in the next couple of weeks. I did my best to make it clear that there are multiple starting points and different tracks to choose from, so we'll see if that gets any extra traction.

I'm tentatively planning to also boost the community twice more during the year, for the start of the Medium Mood Theme Tracks. I figure that's a good balance for advertising the community, especially since the first part of the Medium Track lines up with the Minimum Track.

Up next I need to see how much I need to tweak the community profile to reflect the changes I've made over the year. Hopefully not too much, but it at least shouldn't be as bad as writing the profile from scratch. After that, I start on the actual community advertising! fandomcalendar, fictional_fans, dw_community_promo, newcomers, and maybe fandom_on_dw, just to get all of my ducks in a row. (I already hit up copperbadge's Radio Free Monday at the start of the month, so I need to decide if I want to go for it again before the end of the year, when he stops doing it entirely.) I may want to space my posts to those communities out a bit, though; if nothing else, I don't want to spam my own reading page 😂

Dunno how much of that I'll get to tomorrow, since I have work (yay, hours!), but it's a plan 👍

Props to you for conceiving, creating, managing & producing all that in a year!

The busy rat has a nifty visual pun: on first glance I saw a stylized barbell, which makes sense as a busy activity.

Conga-rat-ulations to you! This was a great first year and I hope you get a lot of folks more interested next round. :) Balancing the schedule and advertising more is a huge accomplishment by itself.

Thanks 😁 I'd love to have more people join in, however many moods they want to stay for—though I'd really love to have more people later in the year, past the initial New Year's Resolution energy, which I'm hoping the alternate tracks will help with.
