Okay, so I've been shoving the art that ickaimp made me in exchange for putting up Distraction early in all my RL friends' faces XD and going, "Look what Icka drew me! Isn't it great? =D" at them. Lunch time rolls around and Hannah wanders by, so I shove the picture in her face.
Hannah: What's this?
Me: Fanart that Icka drew me ^___^
Hannah: *points to Sitting!Hakuba* Who's this?
Me: Hakuba Saguru.
Hannah: *points to Kaito* Who's this?
Me: Kuroba Kaito.
Hannah: *points to Flashback!Hakuba* Who's this?
Me: Also Hakuba Saguru.
Hannah: *points to Shin'ichi* And who's this?
Me: Kudo Shin'ichi.
Hannah: Ah.
Me: I have the fic it's drawn from with me, if you'd like to read it. *pulls fic printout from bag*
Hannah: Hey, it's short! Why not. *reads the fic*
Me: *sits there patiently*
Hannah: Why'd Shin'ichi kiss Hakuba?
Me: Because Shin'ichi was trying to pick a lock and Hakuba wouldn't shut up and let him work.
Hannah: Okay.
*pause*
Hannah: Wait, did _you_ write this?
Me: ^___^ Yup
Hannah: ! That's great! *quotes back parts she liked* To tell the truth, I was expecting Kaito to kiss Hakuba at the end to tease him.
Me: O_o... That would work, too!

So, Distraction Alternate Ending:
Kaito's grin widened, and Saguru groaned internally. He was leering, the bastard. "Do I get a kiss, too, Saguru-chan?" Kaito purred. Across the room, Koizumi Akako cat-called.

Hakuba exploded.

You want to know the best part about this? Hannah knows Jack Diddly about Detective Conan and Magic Kaito ^____^. I mean, she's heard me talk at her about them, but that's _it_. So, much love for Hannah. *glomps Hannah*

The fun part about posting the pic was asking people if I should put it under 'mature' or not. (not much disturbs me art-wise, so I have to ask people)
So I sent it to a friend who used to be 'omg! boys touching! don't show it to me!' and asked her.
She looked at it, shrugged and said it was fine.
Commented that when I first started talking to her two years ago, she would have freaked out entirely.
Then realised, two years ago, I wouldn't have drawn stuff like this... #^^# Which was my disturbing thought of the day. ^^;;

I am so tempted to suddenly make this a series of short fics in which Hakuba ends up kissing all of the Gosho guys O_o...

*pokes the picture* Yeah, it's pretty harmless. Now, that last scene from the Tanning fic on the other hand...

Man, I was such a prude when I first started getting into fandoms ^^; I think they helped to force my mind open.

Ghostbusters, my first on-line fandom love, introduced me to slash.
How freaky is that?
Ended up having to research it to find out just what was possible for ficcage and what not while beta-ing in chat.
Then forgot about it after we got into anime, then realised that hey, the best written fics tend to be yaoi/slash.
Which is what really got us hooked. #^^#

Can't say anything, was a personal challenge to myself to get all of the Gosho Guys in Drag.

...Okay, that's kinda freaky, but considering fandoms in general, I'm not too surprised ^^;...
